Scanning & Digitisation

Scanning is the best way to make reproductions, copies or amended versions of in demand or out of print publications, make original volumes from loose documents, and back up paper documents electronically.

Books can be carefully disbound to allow for their scanning before rebinding them using the original or new boards and covers. In many cases it is also possible to scan books without disbinding.

From the scanned documents we can print and bind new versions, remaining sympathetic to the original binding where required. Scans can also be used to create online digital archives, and scanned text can be increased in size without distortion, thanks to our patent pending techniques.
